Contesto

Imagine a situation where you’re frying some delicious fish in the kitchen. The strong smell of frying fish spreads throughout the house. What would you do in such a situation? There are numerous aerosol brands available which claim to fill the room with invigorating fragrances.

But would that be enough? Most of the aerosol brands only provide the benefit of pleasant fragrance. They simply mask the bad odor for a short while before disappearing and bringing back the bad odor again.

Febreze Air is the only aerosol spray in the market that truly cleans away odors and not just simply mask it. We want your help in launching Febreze in a new market by visually bringing alive their superior claim in fun and eye-catching ways.

Through a visually arresting poster with tagline, bring alive Febreze aerosol spray’s superiority of truly cleaning the odor compared to other spray that simply mask it.

Your eye-catching poster and compelling tagline will convey –

  • Febreze aerosol spray’s product superiority of truly cleaning away the odor and providing fresh fragrance.
  • Other aerosol spray’s limited ability to just mask the odor through their fragrance.

Most consumers today are not able to distinguish between cleaning away the odor and just masking it, they simply believe that all products only mask the odor. As a result, they are not content with their current aerosol spray products. This is an opportunity for Febreze to create a new category and move consumers away from using just ‘fragrance providing’ aerosol sprays to the one with superior benefit.

Along with your poster with tagline, please also answer the following questions –

  1. How does your poster bring alive Febreze’s superiority claim of truly cleaning away the odor and not only masking it?
  2. How does your entry convince consumers to re-evaluate their current aerosol spray which simply masks odor?

Tips

The examples are only provided to illustrate our expectations. Please do not use them in your submission or it will be rejected.

Example of a good entry: A good example could be a poster where Febreze is spraying out tiny cleaner men who are literally wiping away the bad odor caused by fish. This entry shows the product superiority of Febreze of actually cleaning away the odor and not simply masking it.  

Example of a bad entry: A bad example could be showing a visual of a woman spraying an air freshener and being completely lost and mesmerized by its fragrance. This would simply show the benefit of pleasant smell and we want to move away from visuals of a ‘dreamy and flowery world’ used by the rest of the competitors.

Through eye-catching visuals and tagline, the best entries will communicate Febreze’s product superiority of truly cleaning away the odor and not only masking it. The best ideas will appeal to women and make them re-evaluate their current aerosol spray.

  • Your entry must include a poster with a tagline along with answers to the questions.
